The Eisner Award comitee has nominated the  20th Anniversary Edition of Surfin’ the Highway, the complete Sam & Max comic collection for the Eisner award in the Best Graphic Album – Reprint Category. To celebrate this, Telltale is offering three special price bundles that include Surfin’ the Highway and other Sam & Max merchandise. Telltale’s Sam & Max games are currently available for PC and Wii but are expected to come to Xbox Live Arcade this year.

Sam & Max: Hit the Road - a legendary LucasArts adventure

The canine version of Humphrey Bogart  Sam and always pissed off rabbit maniac Max are detectives from a bit different New York City where they solve crimes and abuse criminals in various ways. Created by Steve Purcell they first appeared in his highschool newspaper, comics and later in famous LucasArts adventure Sam & Max Hit the road and animated series on FoX TV. Today we can find them in Telltale comics and their episodic game series.

You can get Surfing the Highway from from Telltale’s website in trade paperback and limited edition hardcover versions. 20th Anniversary Edition has 197 pages in which you can find  all the original content plus 25 pages of unpublished artwork.
