On CES 2012, Lenovo announced several smart TV devices powered by the Google Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. Today, four TV sets become available for sale in mainland China.

In what seems to be a "smartphone meets TV", Lenovo decided to pair Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 (APQ8060) operating at 1.5GHz. This is a dual-core processor based on Scorpion CPU core (ARM Cortex-A9), paired with an Adreno 220 GPU. If you thought that we’ll never talk in PC terms when it comes to TVs? think again. The Snapdragon S3 processor is coupled with 1GB of LPDDR2 memory, and there’s 8GB of NAND Flash storage. You can expand the storage subsystem with SDXC cards (up to 128GB) or USB drives.

The K71 does not support 3D, but K72, K81 and K91 all support 3D (was there any doubt). Unfortunately, we don’t know what technology was used. All panels are IPS LCD (In-Plane Switching), guaranteeing good picture quality, while sound experience is being provided by a Dolby Digital + DTS 2.0 certified sound system.
