On Computex Taipei 2012, GigaByte announced its entrance into the world of workstation products. The company created a workstation-grade motherboard utilizing Intel’s C606 chipset.

The board comes with full amount of SAS ports, and GigaByte’s Demo system had eight Seagate Cheetah drives at 15,000 RPM delivering a throughput of massive 7GB/s, pictured below – enough for real-time editing with up to five real-time, ucompressed 4K RAW streams.
