Companies come from around the world to exhibit at International CES in Las Vegas. This year is no exception. The International Gateway is filled with firms based in China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. In fact, 460 exhibitors will crowd into Hall D at the Venetian and spill over into the Marco Polo Ballroom.

Although the spotlight is on Asian countries in the International Gateway, don’t be mislead. European and South American companies come to CES plying their wares as well. Don’t miss Sweden based Tobii Technology, the global leader in eye tracking and gaze interaction technology who will have a visible presence at the show.

One of the most unusually named companies comes from Poland, Sabaj II Sp. j. or the Sabaj Group Company. They specialize in mechanical lifts for mounting plasma and LCD screens. They have a rotary base for flat screen TVs with an electric stepper motor and overload clutch to prevent your TV from falling down. They will be showing a patented floor-standing swivel for LCD or plasma screens, operated by an IR or RF Remote Control.

The state of Tamaulipas in Northeastern Mexico will also be there trying to encourage companies to set up shop down south. Their invitation is geared towards strengthening the economic and social development of that area.

Among the Asian based companies, the variety is intriguing. Taiwan-based AIDMA is a computer accessories manufacturer offering ergonomic work spaces and accessories, such as gel wrist pads, screen guards, and laptop keys. Also from Taiwan, G-Star Industrial comes from Taipei. The company offers a universal gaming headset and Internet microphones.

A large contingent is heading to CES from various parts of China. Changzhou Wujin Fulin Electronic is a professional designer and manufacturer of wire and cable. From Guangzhou, GCI Science & Technology plans to present the system they developed to distribute media contents by using LED/LCD devices connected to the Internet. As their name implies, Hong Kong Sogno Technology comes to CES from Hong Kong. They manufacture and develop professional audio products, such as speakers, guitar amplifiers, and pedal effectors.
