So, as we approach the inevitable launch of HTC’s All New HTC One (I will never get used to that ‘creative’ name choice), it looks like some benchmarks for the latest smartphone from HTC are finally beginning to leak. Thanks to Rightware’s Powerboard, which indexes the company’s publicly available benchmarks, we are able to see some public results and hardware specs of the device.

In these benchmarks, it appears that we are able to confirm that the HTC One M8 will have a Snapdragon 801 SoC along with an expected 1920 x 1080 resolution. The OS version isn’t actually made public, for some reason, but we can assume it will be Android 4.4 Jelly Bean. In the results, there have actually been multiple benchmarks tested from Rightware, which include their BasemarkOS 2.0 and their Browsermark 2.0 benchmarks.

The All New HTC beats the previous winner in the Lumia 1520 and becomes the best gaming performance phone in the market by far with the Snapdragon 801. Its overall performance also beats all the current smartphones and tablets according to Basemark OS II results. It also takes the 7th position in the Browsermark browsing benchmark.

Here’s also a video that already compares them side by side.
