Sure, but... by: Radu M. Cosma on 10/20/2009
Sure, but there's a difference between unmanaged wires and a whole bunch of them stuck in front of the CPU cooler. I actually tested this particular case and found my CPU temp to grow by... 1 degree in idle :)

I sorta agree with Radu M. by: Anonymous on 10/19/2009
Most of the way. Certainly bundled/sleeved cables infront of a CPU cooler can force air to a certain extent around it, which would result in lower results. But not all that much. I for one prefer modular / clean cases because it's a real PITA to work on a computer with fifteen stiff cables in your way of one cable.
Come on! by: Radu M. Cosma on 10/19/2009
I've heard this a million times: unmanaged cables obstruct the airflow inside the case and as a result there is an increase in temperature...
There must be hundreds if not thousands of topics where people give advice and show off their wire-managed computer cases.

While the result certainly improves the system on an aesthetic level, I for one do not believe that a bunch of dangling wires can affect airflow in such a way that your CPU will get hotter. And I have my reasons for this, based on plain physics.

Tell you what, why don;t you guys do a test with one or more cases and several levels of wire-management and see what you get ;)
