I would be cool if they did both, I could care less about the matchmaking, as long as they allow dedicated servers I'm fine. I don't even care about mods and whatnot.I think the message in the other post said it best...why not just have both?

EA DICE do NOT has the intention of releasing a "game per year" of the B. saga and at Activision / Infinity Award, this is the intention for the future.
Besides another excuses: Who buy in PC a multiplayer FPS of the same saga year after year? Not to much people. Good look, Infinity A.

Console Additives

Well if u think about it all started in COD2 they were adding Console Port Items then.
Radar to show enemy players.
Death Icons.
Grenade Indicators
Yes they did have an option to turn off Console Additives
But again every new release they add more and more console additives if it wasnt for Dedicated servers I probally could not host Lan games at all and have console features off.

"Seriously, people, grow up. The stunts you people are pulling only hurts your case and gets you nowhere .about 6 hours ago from TweetDeck"
If IW happens to read this, the answer is No it does not hurt us. It hurts Infinity Ward. Their game is not the only one in the horizon, and a relatively lesser-known game (until two days ago) called Battlefield Bad Company 2 is getting more and more appealing to the mass of PC enthusiasts who know what they want. As long as Infinity Ward shows their insensitivity everyday to the PC Community, that part of their game market will go elsewhere. PC gamers were all praises to Infinity Ward since COD1, the goodwill they have earned since 2003 evaporated overnight on October 17, 2009.

MW2? Isn't MechWarrior 2 a bit out of date now?
Try expanding your acronyms at least once in an article. Yes I can google what BC2 is and hopefully it's not a complete mess of 19 different games with that abbreviation, but it's still annoying to have to go look up independently.
BC2 for us!

Our clan will definantly be looking at BC2 for our future game for sure. Since infinity ward wants to fail, we will go for the BF series. BTW IMO the only reason IW wants to go to this, is so they can be the ones getting payed to host the game, and not the private server hosts. They want to charge money to play such as they do for xbox live so they can have even more money. Way to fail IW, way to fail.
Go DICE!

Smart move on the part of DICE. Before their response gamers were already stating that they would simply move to one of the new Battlefield games. I wonder what their parent, EA, has to say about it though.
