to say the least. I myself had family members affected by this disease, and I wellcome any achievement in the research of the cure, and early detection of it. An old Italian adagio says: "prevenire è meglio che curare": to prevent is better than to cure. If GPGPUs allow early detection and thus prevention of breast cancer, then I more than wellcome them. For many, I realize that GPGPUs are too late. Had them (NVIDIA, ATI, or whoever) developed such computational beasts before, who knows how many lifes they could have saved. Too bad all this computational power will mainly be used for gaming, and the such. I plaude companies as this one who think differently.
