Thanks again for all of the input and suggestions.
We are certainly going to look into them.
Who knows you may see BSN* reviews and articles available for download to your favorite flavor of PMP soon.
I see now...

Attention span for the product, that's interesting. I'm looking forward to see how this goes.
Even if you don't find someone with a pleasant voice, maybe you could tweak it afterwards ;)
This should be fairly easy even with long articles, as the reader can take a break when needed or repeat certain paragraphs and mix it all together in the end.
You just need a good recording "studio" to keep ambient noise to a minimum, otherwise the whole thing would be annoying.
Best of luck to you!
Forum and Audio articles

We are actively working on a forum right now.
As for the audio articles, that is a very interesting idea and one that we will certainly explore. I had not thought about that to be honest before you mentioned it.
Perhaps we can start up our own pod casts and include some of these new reviews and news articles... Now we just have to find someone to do the reading ;)
Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
Attention span

We are talking about the actual product. Not the review on its own. We will basically test the product for about 20-30 minutes to see if it is able to grab our attention and warrant further exploration.
This is tailor made for games, and small accessories. something like a CPU, Motherboard or new GPU would not fit in here. But other things certainly will.
These will still be shorter than our full product reviews.

How 'bout audio articles?
You know, like audio books :)
That would define telly be a first, and I for one would love to hear an article while I'm browsing other stuff.

How about a mini forum?
(pure tech one)
20 mins is too long

I think the 20 mins attention span applies to listening and/or watching something, not reading.
Yes, most reviews out there can get boring at some point, but they are also within a 20-25 min reading time.
If you want this to work I recommend having a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes of reading for each short review.
Sounds good

With most of those five to fifteen page reviews, I just skip to the "Conclusion" page.
this could be an interesting idea.
Great Idea

I'm looking forward to the first reviews.

This would be great for games. I sometimes have a genuine problem giving a game a legitimate shot, often giving up on it after an hour if it hasn't got me sucked in yet.
