Thanks for the feedback everyone, we appreciate it. We'll be bringing back our laptops - but only ones that make sense and fit in with our design philosophy. Laptops are an entirely different game in the boutique space, we don't have the freedom we do with desktops because the ODMs largely dictate the design. But believe me we are working on it.

too bad these guys don't make laptops. Their descriptions of what alienware and asus laptops look like are my biggest pet peeves - I just want a simple elegant look to a gaming laptop.

Good interview, good questions, straight answers. Maingear wants to be Mercedes-Benz, not some kind of riced-up Civic, and it seems to be a good marketing move.

Of course, I would rather build my own system to my own preferred specs.

New servers, new features

Welcome to BSN*!

We have just completed the server switch and brought three new server to power Bright Side of News*. We will be introducing new features to the site over the course of next few days, so stay tuned.

For those wanting to know, all three servers are powered by Intel Xeon processors at 2.6 GHz each.
