That is quite unfortunate...
As for the pricing, there is a bit of confusion... their advertisement says 149, but their site says 119... I believe they dropped the price to 119 for the kit including the traveling case. For someone like me, who doesn't need a traveling case, you can get the essential kit for 99.95 which is the price i mentioned in the article.

I held my jacket over her head so she wouldnt get wet and we began to scurry accross the parking lot in the direction of our car, or at least the direction we thought the car was in. I was pressing the unlock button on my car alarm system and we were listening for the, "Honk/Honk". The unfortunate thing was that everyone else who was leaving the event was also using that same method. There were multiple times when we heard a, "Honk/Honk" but when we walked that way we came to find that it was someone elses car that they were looking for with their car alarm keychain thing. God, I wish I would have had this thing!.. It took us like 20 minutes to find the car and by that time the girl I was with was completely soaked and I looked like a fool! Everyone should get one of these. I think $149.00 is pretty high for something like this but, $99.00 is totally reasonable considering the night I had...

It's promising to become a new recognition symbol for an American; after all, the Japanese and Chinese have took over the famous "a camera around the neck" one.
