This is the same question I go over and over again. Personally, I don't care about operating systems, I care solely about the applications I use.

And this is where Apple comes second best. Working on $2000 desktop with W7 Beta gives me better feeling than our $10K Mac Pro machine...

It's not the hardware.. and it is hard to point out - but Mac OSX just doesn't seem responsive to me. I want snap-snap-snap reactions - I use 2000 dpi mouse in Windows, type 160 words/minute and it looks like MacOS cannot follow me. I know I am in minority though.

I thought the MAC desktop was childish. The hardware is over priced. Many of my MAC friends are loading Vista. I don't understand why you spend so much on MAC hardware to run Vista.
