I just purchased the Sapphire HD 4850x2 2GB card. I am in no rush for DX11. I hope Microsoft builds it around OpenCL.

DX10 flopped because Nvidia forced Microsoft to cut features because their current designs didn't support said features.
Like Intel forced Microsoft to support their crappy chips as Aero-enabled.
Monopolies benefit consumers.

I cant get excited about dx 11 as dx 10 was, for the most part, a flop. Interesting story though. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.
