by: Anonymous on 7/21/2009
Lol.. I stopped reading as soon as I hit #1 with K-lite codec pack.. CCCP all the way.
by: Anonymous on 6/26/2009
KLCP is much better then CCCP...
because KLCP contain the same components like CCCP + encoders + Gabest splitters + other useful programs ;)

and MPC-HC is contain in KLCP too, like in CCCP

and my recommendation for audio player is AIMP2, best IMO alternative for WinAmp

a-squared Free is good alternative for all spyware etc scanners

and better IMO from IrfanView is XnView ;)

I've used regular MPC until this guide came out.
Media Player Classic Home Cinema and DirectX acceleration r0x! This is the best app in the guide. Great work Daniela!

I definitely thought that VLC should have been added to the list instead of the other media players, but i guess its personal preference. I just use VLC because it has such good compatibility with various files like .mkv files. And we all know what those are for.

sorry i see foxit is there :) Sorry about that! But Vlc should be there for sure!!
wtf? by: Anonymous on 6/24/2009
where is Vlc? And Adobe reader? wtf? that is one of the worst apps out there!! try Foxit instead, it is WAY faster and only 3mbs. and it loads in 2 seconds, and does pretty much everything adobe does, and is free as well.

Well Combine Community Codec Pack is better than K-Lite anyway :P
RE: by: Theo Valich on 6/14/2009
Nope, K-Lite comes with WMC, not with WMC-Home Cinema edition... ;)

Windows Media Classic comes with K-Lite Codec Pack. Can't remember if it's the home cinema edition that comes with it though. I know it's the home cinema edition in Combined Community Codec Pack though.
