It is good to see AMD at least trying to remain competitive with these "Istambul" parts for the server market. What's needed now is for these 6 core products to come to the desktop to give some pressure to Intel's i7 range. At least to try to "hold the fort" until reinforcements (bulldozer et al) arrive.
