The matter of choice by: Theo Valich on 6/24/2009
In all honesty, there is a thing called choice in life. Nobody is forcing you to acquire Apple hardware [or any other brand, for that matter]. If they do, advising a person to visit Dr. Freud would be recommended course of action ;)

At the end of the day, just like World of Warcraft is a game, iPhone is just - a phone. Even though those millions of customers are annoyingly loud, it is their right to do so.

We'll keep ourselves on the non-biased side of the fence. But given the size of our investment in both Apple and PC hardware and software, we do reserve the right to remain our "no BS" attitude.

Apple products, in my opinion, are overpriced, proprietary and their bang for the buck is terrible. I wouldn't wait 1 second in a line to buy an Apple product.

I do not think I made any statements to the affect that the iPhone would solve world hunger. Nor did I claim they are the best selling Cell Phone maker.

The article covers the issue of the marketing Hype around the 3G S, how it was implemented, how planned shortages affected peoples purchasing and really in the end how the phone fails to impress once you get it if you have used a jailbroken one.

Who gives the shit about the iPhone? It's just another phone, not a solution to world's hunger. They even aren't the best selling cellphone maker, FFS.

Apple bores me to death. Copy Paste? Good, you need to pay $200 and additional 18mth contract extension. No way.
