RE: Technology maven by: Theo Valich on 6/26/2009
We have covered the subject from both sides. I did pieces that touch how can Intel address needs Nokia disclosed to us during 2007 and 2008, which some companies chose to neglect [and in our opinion, botch badly].
Intel can fit perfectly in those plans, however, in our discussions with Intel folk, it looked to us like Intel themselves doesn't know why they were selected.
Nokia has a certain needs that would fit the bill on smartphone/smartbook area, Intel can fit the bill perfectly... or not.
Only time will tell.

Will they ever deliver? by: Anonymous on 6/25/2009
There's one other thing over the years that Intel is very good at that is making a profit from high-dollar CPUs that everybody thinks they need. Often the public forgets Intel's many collaborations, product ideas, and reference designs they attempted to launch into an uncaring marketplace. This vague arrangement with Nokia may well be completely forgotten in a year's time.

Boring? Yeah, I guess if one can't read the writing on the wall it is just a bunch of boring scribbles.
