You definitely need 3D testing so that people can see what the platform can AND cannot do. With Win7 coming up, you have a ton of reasons for needed extra graphics horsepower.( especially with DX Compute & you also have OpenCL coming). These GPGPU apps will be great for netbooks since the CPU is so lackluster.

As for the article, looks good! Can you cite sources?
