I know, I know. Why would you want to sell your iPhone? But, really, you would earn a lot of extra money. You could sell it for $600 (and make sure you tell people about the apps and any music you might have. Also remind them that they can not sync it to their computer, because that would delete everything.)
Do the math.
So, you have $600 after you sell it (make SURE to take the sim card out and go to the AT&T store to have them do whatever they need to do to cancel that phone line.)
-$100 for your rent
-$100 for a new iPhone 3G 8 gigabytes
