tegra 2 has tegra 1 gpu just shrunk tweeked and overclocked but vastly more CPU
both tegra 1 and 2 have a add on sub die option containing a gf9 level gpu with cude and its own ram

in this version at high clocks tegra 2 with add-on die would be a beast and game in HD with ease

hybrid wii/DS HD oh yes please
sub die switches on when in docking station tv hd mode ONLY
tegra 2 only in DS mode come on i just made perfect sense there
Rather amusing by: Anonymous on 10/1/2009
to "Zune rocks" you got it wrong Microsoft did not create the Tegra chip if this was so you would think they would make windows compatibility but it only works with the mobile OS of windows.
gen3 16x? by: Anonymous on 8/17/2009
Is it me or the graph is saying gen3 will be greater than 4x of gen2 also which implies greater than 16x of gen1?

Yeah, 4x perf is only 300% faster:

gen1 = N
gen2 = 4N

(4N - N) / N = 3
as fast as/faster than by: Anonymous on 8/16/2009
You've got your figures mixed up. The graph shows that [nVidia thinks that] gen2 Tegra will be 4x the performance of gen1. This is NOT the same as being 400% faster.

Being 100% FASTER THAN something is different from being 100% AS FAST AS something - the former meaning twice as fast, the latter meaning the exact same speed.
Zune rocks! by: Anonymous on 8/14/2009
I saw the specs and cannot believe that Microsoft created something that good. I want to buy one. And now, next-gen Tegra will be even better and you say it will come out in February.
Good to see nvidia success. by: Anonymous on 8/13/2009
I'm sure this tegra still not competitive with Snapdragon without all in one wireless in one pack. But, hopes in PMP market with ZuneHD it could beats Ipod Touch.
