It is funny to see eDRAM making a comeback 10 years afer it was supposed to be "the memory". Anybody remembers BitBoys Oy and their eDRAM-filled GPU before Infineon screwed them up?
Wonder will eDRAM have a better uptake with Big Blue blowing wind in eDRAM's direction.

IBM is no doubt achieving these speeds and efficiency rates due to their Rambus licence. Hats off to Rambus for inventing some incredible technology!
