If AMD continues to innovate beyond Intel, will Apple change to AMD processors from Intel?
That would really shake up the industry. Or what if you could buy a Mac with either processor?

Yes, it is confirmed on multiple reviews that the display port is needed for more than two as the DVI can't handle 2 connections at the same time when using 2 displays
DisplayPort required?

If we look at the fine print on the bottom of the official Eyefinity page,
http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/eyefinity/Pages/eyefinity.aspx
ATi says
1) Driver version 8.66 (Catalyst 9.10) or above is required to support ATI Eyefinity technology and to enable a third display you require one panel with a DisplayPort connector.
Can this be confirmed that DisplayPort panels are required for more the 2way configurations?

Your story coverage is breath-taking and graphically perfect. I almost glued my nose to my graphic screen.
I hope, you're going to offer the whole coverage of the event (including a video or two).
