Your builds are not compartable by: Anonymous on 10/25/2009
BSN keeps on putting workstations out there and not testing it. Just throwing a bunch of things that do not go together. Anyone who follows these deaf traps are gonna spend a lot of money for it. One example is the Tyan ultimate workstation.

1. Tell me how this cooler can fit this processor. This is for i7 processors. which do not have a back plate.

2. you need a y splitter for the two xeons.

The athena y splitters which is on the market is 6 inches which is too short, you will have to buy another extension for the 8 pin eps cable to reach the plug. In my experience this board is a nightmare. I will not advice anyone to take this info which BSN is dishing out. It is false. End of story.

Please stay way from this board. Look for another manufacture. I Own this board.

This tyan board you are promoting maybe great on features but to find a cpu cooler for this board is a nightmare. The zalman with it's extension bracket (1366) will not fit as you mention in one of your rigs. I don't think you built this machine because you would know that the ZALMAN CNPS9500 cooler will not fit. You must be more careful in dishing out info.
Tyan Mobo for Oveclocking? by: Anonymous on 9/17/2009
I have just read the Tyan S7010 manual, and most of the common/typical overclocking settings (FSB speed, vCore...) are missing.

Yes, you can change the CPU multiplier but I have my serious doubts that will get you far.
Overclocking? by: Anonymous on 9/13/2009
