They need to unload that GPU stinker they bought a few years ago. Ruiz was an idiot, but Meyer needs to stop living the Ruiz legacy. I sold my AMD stock long ago, and it seems I made the right choice.

The small GPU income really baffles me. I don't know business financials well but, they sold millions of those cards. Surely they had some margin there? If so, where did all of that money go? R&D perhaps?

It is known that they had to react to the cancellation of the 32nm node, perhaps that cost them more than they wanted. I hope this means they already did some of the work for the next generation.
