Also, what are the chances of a nice, fresh article about HTC glacier AKA the dual core Project Emerald?

I see now. I'm using a T-Mobile G2 Touch, which is a renamed HTC Hero, I'm in the UK which is probably where the confusion came from, apologies.
G2 has a physical keyboard by: Theo Valich on 10/7/2010
Not sure what device you might use, but you are not using a T-Mobile G2:

There was a device called HTC Magic, which some called G2. Also, you might be confused between G2 by T-Mobile USA and G2 by European Vodafone.

And at the end of the day, they're all made by HTC.

The G2 has no physical keyboard. I'm pretty sure you mean G1.
