So you're comparing the success of a single Lunar probe by the Indian space program, which is based entirely on the shoulders of 65 years of research, experimentation and hard won rocketry science of other pioneering countries, to that of mankind's fledgling first steps into space based on 10 years of trial, error, and hope.

Although a great first step to the future of space exploration, one that I welcome, launching an impact probe at the closest, biggest and most co-operative target in our skies isn't exactly a feat of human endeavour, is it?
