Blockbuster is clearly irrelevant and the public has spoken: they do not want Blockbuster around anymore. Hopefully, liquidation rather than bankruptcy will result.

Not likely. The day of the video store is long gone as streaming and netflix have just made things FAR easier.

They'd have to get things significantly cheaper than their competition and/or get newer releases like you find in hotels (stuff still in the theater) on PPV.
