Five long years to see only 6x times performance increase .... these were really long five years. We saw all Moores law went into building large cache blocks. Would next five be even longer?

I think this pompous beast are fair successor to the Intels line of pompous CPUs. 5GHz as final 32nm Intel's tock on P6 architecture. Well it's not any higher than quad core Q9550 and Xeons on water at 45nm two years ago

And you forgot to mention 130W TDP is only how much CPU consumes not honestly descriptive how inefficient (power leaking) Core i7 power supply really are.
