I have a x86 Via ULV SFF from lex.com.tw runninig at 1.5 Ghz and its processor is on the bottom side of the DDR2. The case is aluminum, too, and acts like a heatsink. It's actually smaller than this, about .5 inch deeper and 1.5" wider than the 3.5". It doesn't have HDMI, though, because there's a royalty on that which the manufacturers are averse to.
