What's impressive here is not free communication, but 150 million application softwares, which is 1000 times more than iPhone APP store.
That's really something amazing here!
webOS has more apps than Blackberry?

The HP/Palm webOS has over 2,000 apps, even though they haven't updated their handsets.

yes, it certainly seems like promoting one product.
Not to mention, it totally ignore fact that XP was found lacking in touch-screen interface even for tablets - let alone much smaller 4" phone screens.
And also do not mention that all that "unification" is already present on major smartphone OS platforms like iOS, Android ... even WinMobile. Also, then all can support "FREE" communications via apps like Skype - and article also fail to mention that talk may be free, but network access is usually not ( to talk 'anywhere' you would need to use some data network, either GPRS, 3G, 4G - whatever - and it will cost according to data plans )
