The offer was very limited as the SSDs were sold out in hours. So if you can't buy them for 1$ per GB then it means this article needs some serious refactoring.

Wow, very nice price and a good sized drop. SSD's keep dropping very quickly and at unexpected months and times.

As for the person who said a 1TB drive is $1000. Don't forget SSD's are NOT just about being as cheap as Hard drives. They are bought because of there speed. All a person needs is an SSD large enough to make a difference for most files. And at 128GB that started to happen. Now at 256GB it's very reasonable that most people can use this. They can then put their big movie files etc on a secondary hard drive.

That would make a 1TB drive 1000$.
It's still 10 times more expensive than a regular harddisk drive!!

Lets hope prices continue to fall.
