Earlier today, I encountered a series of issues with a months' old installation of 32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate operating system on ASUS EEE PC 1000 series netbook. Before you state that the computer is underpowered to run this operating system, it worked "like a charm" prior to a certain series of events with "Not-responding" applications.
While browsing the Internet for a resolve, I encountered several hundred people who encountered a similar problem, even if the users had vastly more powerful computers [search Google for "Windows 7 slowdown" and "Windows 7 not responding", Ed.].
This got us thinking: these days everyone and their grandma is upgrading to the shiny new Windows 7 operating system but the question is - are all these new users familiar with all the possibilities that the new OS has?
Our situation was resolved thanks to some advice and then we noticed a new eBook emerging from the wilderness of Internet. The author of this eBook is Mr. Vasu Jain, a Windows 7 enthusiast and a blogger at
WindowsVJ.com, and his book is a compilation of over 50 tips and tricks about Windows 7 to enrich the desktop experience, and an added bonus section for Windows 7 applications.
From my personal experience, I believe this eBook is really going to help all the new/old users of Windows 7 who are unaware of the utilities and benefits of using it. This nice free eBook is downloadable from Windowsvj.com, either in
PDF or
XPS file format.
