Cooler Master Launches the HAF-922 Mid Tower

Cooler Master is announcing a new entry into their High Air Flow [HAF] line of PC enclosures. The HAF line was introduced to the world by the HAF-932 a full tower sized case with massive yet quiet air flow for the enthusiast to stuff all kinds of goodies into.

Cooler Master Launches the HAF-922Now thinking a little smaller but maintaining the same design and build quality Cooler Master is launching the HAF-922. The 922 will be the Mid-Tower entry and while smaller will be no less of a performer.

Supporting up to seven fans ranging from 200 mm to 120 mm the HAF can still keep the cool air moving through even in the most cramped system. The included fans [One venting out the top of the case and a second pulling cool air in from the front] spin at 700RPM and have a noise level of only 19dBA. As with the HAF-932 the HAF-922 is ready for water cooling; you can remove the top mounted fan and slide a dual 120 radiator up there with plenty of headroom for your system. A bottom mounted PSU with an external air intake vent under the case helps maintain a cool interior environment.

The tool free drive installation that was so popular on the HAF-932 returns with the 922 with a total of 5 5.25-inch and 5 3.5-inch drive bays. An included cable management system helps to keep the clutter down while an innovative 7+1 PCI expansion slot design give you more room to grow.

The front I/O panel will contain 2 USB 2.0 ports, the usual microphone and speaker ports [supporting both AC97 and HD audio] and an e-SATA port.

7- Fans for massive Air Flow

Cooler Master has been improving their offerings on an ever increasing schedule with the HAF-932 and 922 they now have two great cases for the air-cooling enthusiast and for anyone looking for a quite system. The HAF-922 should be on the shelves in the first part of May and will only run you about $129.00 which is not bad for what you get.

IP address change delay

Greetings,

The planned network provider change will not happen as planned, due to our site administrator ending in hospital as a consequence of his gliding accident. The wounds are not life-threatening but Mr. Ivica Hosko is still in the hospital, four days after the crash with transportation to Zagreb in two days time. We send our best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery. As soon as Mr. Hosko returns to his daily post, we'll announce the details of our network provider switch.

The following message is for Mr. Ivica himself:  "Ivica, you nut - gliding around a 2km/6600ft mountain with changeable winds in November?"

Thanks for understanding,

Ed-in-chief
