New Laptop Hunters: Meet Lauren and Sue

The new episode of Microsoft's Laptop Hunters marketing ploy is out. Here we meet Lauren a pre-law student and her mom Sue.

Just like always, the notebook shopping time brings an anonymous character that looks for a laptop and when he/she finds it and buys it [if it is a Windows-based laptop - netbooks and Macs need no apply, Ed.], they get the cash back. This time around, Lauren is looking for a laptop with speed, portability and battery life. First they check out Mac [as always, Ed.] but as they say it is too expensive and that before adding additional things, so why would anyone paid twice the price?

At the end they chose a Dell Studio XPS Laptop with Intel Core2 Duo Processor P8600 - Black for $971.99. So once again PC took the victory. Maybe next time someone will chose a Mac after all, well we'll just have to wait and see.
