Because of such high demand for beta keys for YS Online: The Call of Solum, as seen by the fast disappearance of first 10.000 ones Key To Play will release another 50.000 keys.
YS Online: The Call of Solum is an upcoming MMORPG based on popular YS series that first appeared in 8-bit age and later moved to manga (Japanese comics) series, OAVs [Orijinaru bideo animēshon, Original video animation] and novels. Falcom the holders of IP have joined forces with CJ Internet to create this YS title as a Massive Multiplayer Online game experience. European game release is made possible thanks to a new video game portal Key To Play.
The game has entered its second Closed Beta successfully and considering how fast the first 10.000 beta keys were taken it is one of the highly anticipated MMO titles. Because of such high demand for YS: The Call of Solum beta keys Key To Play will release another 50.000 keys to allow even more players to check it out. In YS: The Call of Solum when Man of Wings’ ascends to the sky, chaos reigns in the continent of Eresia. Europe divides into two enemy realms: Romun, who dominate the centre and south of the region and Etruria, in the north. One hundred years of constant battles of the continent and fighting against newly emerged creatures of chaos destroys several kingdoms one after another.
Not bad but they really look like characters from any other MMO, Requiem, Lineage or other Far Eastern online games.
Grey the hero takes 12 soldiers of different races (Eresians, Kimoans, and Afrocans) and plans to defeat the monsters and unite continent under a Romun empire rule.
Key To Play has a new trick created for stopping botters [people who use programs that play their characters or perform certain tasks]. This tool aptly called THE BOMB will be available to players for 1 measly copper and will be used to detect if the character is being played by a bot or real person. If a player suspects abnormal gameplay he can throw THE BOMB to the character in question and the player behind must respond by typing captcha. I am personally not a fan of such ungodly annoying system and as always there is possibility of it being used to grief others. What if the person for example is a slow typer or can't/does not want to respond at the time? Or what if he is already engaged in a chat or two? On the other hand botting has become a serious plague on the MMO community and some steps need to be done about it.
Yes, these guys do look like they're from a typical Korean MMO.
Those interested in the game can follow its development progress on Twitter. These new MMO titles seem to be spreading like a plague and when I look at stuff that has come out in the meantime I can only hope that alteast one or two of them will be playable. I would also prefer that all these so-called anime titles actually used anime design instead of this subpar Korean Lineage 2 skins. Maybe something that looks more like art from Berserk or Ghost in the shell instead of this baby faced nonsense.
