ÜberTwitter for Blackberry released, download it now

After months of being in beta ÜberTwitter, the mobile twitter client for BlackBerry, is finally out. Even in beta, ÜberTwitter had the potential to become one of the most popular Twitter clients for BlackBerry in both free and premium versions.

So after almost 18 months and many beta versions, version 1.0 has finally arrived and is now available for public consumption. Some of the new things in this version include the following treats:

• Rich Facebook Posting: Optionally post your tweets directly to Facebook from your device
• Bit.ly Pro: Provide your Bit.ly Pro credentials to be able to track your own shortened links and use the advanced features that Bit.ly provides
• Dismissible Ads: On touch screen devices, ÜberTwitter lets you dismiss the ads found at the bottom of the screen to make more room for your content
