Microsoft Runs Windows 8, Internet Explorer 10 on nVidia Tegra / ARM CPU

April 12, 2011 will stay remembered in the history of ARM community. During their own MIX 2011 conference, which is being held in Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, NV - Microsoft demonstrated Windows 8, their next-generation Operating System and Internet Explorer 10, their next generation browser - both running on an nVidia Tegra development platform.

While Windows 8 won't see the light of the day until 2012, technical preview of Internet Explorer 10 is available today - for x86 systems, of course. Still x86 and ARM architectures are on a collision course and it is going to be quite interesting to see who will come on top.

You can see the video of Internet Explorer 10 below, and if you want to see it in action, download the Internet Explorer Platform Preview 1:

All we can say is - great to see multi-platform approach taking shape.
