AirLive, a division of OvisLink just released the N.Power Router. The company opted for a very simple name for a product due to its capabilities: a 2W output provides wireless coverage up to 2.6 km!
N.Power claims the title of world's most powerful Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n router with a 2000mW output power through the 3dBi antenna, or 1000mW without the antenna. This approach reduced the number of antennas on Wireless-N routers from typical three to just a single one. With this product, the company is targeting large-scale facilities such as airports, hotels, schools, parks, shopping malls etc.
The device itself features four PoE-capable Ethernet ports and an USB 2.0 port to connect external storage which you can share through built-in FTP server, Multiple SSID networks. Also, the N.Power router can be powered using a single Power-over-Ethernet connector only.
All in all, quite an impressive product.
