Ideological Father of Google+ Questions Google's Ban on his Book

Google+ social network may have become a running hit, but according to Paul Adams, the ideological father of Google+ and now an ex-Googler himself, the search engine giant from Mountain View, CA is blocking the release of his book, "Social Circles".

Paul Adams "Social Circle" Book cover - Banned by GoogleThe interesting part is that "Social Circles" received an approval for publication over a year ago, but Google had asked Paul Adams not to publish the book before the project "Emerald Sea" (codename for Google+) came to life this past June. Now with the Google+ out in the open, Google actively pursued not to allow the publication of the book.

To make the matters even weirder, practically complete product was finished (including the social circles logo) before Google went on to work on project Emerald Sea.

The question why might lie in the fact that Paul left Google for - Facebook. If you ask what Paul is going to do next - everything else but standing still. His new book, "Grouped" is going to address the market frenzy for bargain deal websites and is expected to arrive on market in the next couple of months.

Apparently, Facebook doesn't have anything against Paul writing a book about the mechanics of companies which compete with his current employer and even themselves (Facebook Deals).
