The WindPad 110W is a tablet that measures 271x183x15.5mm and weighs in 850 grams, 120-230 grams less than the iPad 2 (3G and Wi-Fi models). This is the second AMD APU based tablet to reach consumers, following the early July launch of the Acer Iconia W500
The case holds an AMD Fusion Z-01 chip, which is based on dual-core Zacate silicon with two Bobcat cores ticking at 1GHz paired with Radeon HD 6250. The Ultra-Low Power version of Zacate silicon is called Desna. The APU can rely on 2GB of Low-Power DDR3 memory and a 32GB SSD (finally a tablet with integrated flash, instead of an microSD card).
This is paired with two 1.3MPixel cameras (one at the front-video calls, one at the back), 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 port, an unusual thumb trackpad and of course, all powered by high-capacity 4,200 mAh battery.
There are two versions of the 110W - Windows 7 Home Premium and Professional. The Win7 Professional version carries an 3G module as well. The base model will set you back for 529 Euro, while the more expensive version with 3.9G (HSPA) module will set you back for 599 Euro.
