With the ending of Thanksgiving Day in United States, we have two shopping holidays: Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We have already posted
the first part of our Black Friday / Cyber Monday Shopping Guide, while in this second part of our guide, we list recommended Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
Acer - Up to $170 offWe start off with
Acer's Black Friday deal (valid until Sunday, Nov 25th), where the company is discounting its Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers. There are even three touchscreen notebooks, which is quite rare (it's brand new hardware). Discounts go from $50-170 off.
Amazon - 30%, 40%, 50%, 60% offAmazon has separated its Black Friday discounts into four categories - 30%, 40%, 50%, 60% off on TV's, speakers and other electronic deals.
Go ahead and check to see if there's anything for you.
Apple - Save from $11 to $101Apple is joining the Black Friday deal day, with discounts which are typically up to 10% of the list price. Still, if you're into the fruity products, this is a good day to check out the deals, with the brand new iPad 4 (iPad with Retina Display) being $41-61 off, depending on model you choose. iMac and iPhone are not on sale, but all the MacBooks are.
Barnes & Noble - Nook eReader for $59, most deals 30-50% off Barnes & Noble Black Friday landing page ranges from eReaders to heavily discounted books, so go ahead and check it out.
Blue Microphones & Woot - Up to 35% offWoot typically offers refurbished products, but for this
Black Friday the e-tailer joined forces with Blue Microphones and is offering significant discounts on brand new products. Discounts range from 18% for
Tiki Portable USB Microphone ($49.00) to 34% for their most popular product,
Yeti USB Microphone ($99.00). There's also 35% off for
Icicle Microphone to USB converter ($39.00).
Dell - Up to $522 offEven though if you haven’t planned on getting a new computer,
Dell offers bunch of Black Friday deals which end today, so go to their website and check it out. For Dell-branded products, discounts go from mediocre $50.00 discount to very good $240 off for Windows 8 enabled notebooks. When it comes to TV sets, discounts range from $120 to massive $522.00 off for a 55" Samsung LED HDTV. Also, a $149.99 Xbox 360 is nothing to be sneezed at.
iSkin - Up to 65% offiSkin offers four days of savings through
iSkin 'Black Tag' savings event, with discounts going up to 65% off. More importantly, five lucky shoppers will get their purchase completely free. However, the website is quite confusing as it does not list the discounts in one place. Their 65% off doesn't cover iPhone 5, eGift cards, Ducati and Q.West collections. For example, we received 60% off on their Aura cover for Samsung Galaxy SIII and 50% off on their Messenger bags.
Newegg.com - Up to several hundred $ off (50% etc.)After several Fake Black Friday deals,
Newegg finally delivered the real "doorbuster" offer which is valid today only. The deals include great $120 off for Western Digital VelociRaptor 500GB hard drive (only $79.99), the very latest 240GB Kingston HyperX 3K SSD for $149.99 ($0.62 / GB). If you feel like building RAID array, why not use LSI's 8-port MegaRAID SATA/SAS controller? The regular price of $759.99 certainly was prohibitive, but the new price of $299.99 represents quite the discount.
Other deals include 23.6" ASUS LED Display for $139.99, 27" Hanns-G for $199.99 or other
great deals in Consumer Electronics. If you feel like building a home theater setup, Pioneer's 7.2-Channel AV Receiver for just $549.99 (Reg. $1,099.99) or Energy Take 5.1 channel for $129.99 is guaranteed to give you plenty of oomph.
OWC - MacSales Discount up to $50 offOther World Computing offers up to $50 off on their products when you use Amazon Checkout. If you feel like it, head over there and grab some Mac goodies…
United Mileage Plus - 75% BonusWhile United Airlines isn't exactly directed on tech,
the airline offers quite a few deals. If you have one of their credit cards or linked MileagePlus account, you can earn up to 2,500 miles on shopping (75% discount) at one of their approved retailers - which all have Black Friday deals on their own. Technology section is represented by AT&T, Dell and Radio Shack, but there are also deals from livingsocial, Kohl's, Lowe's, Overstock, Sears, Sephora and Walmart.
Walmart - Up to 65% off Walmart's Black Friday landing page ranges from blankets to electronics, so head over there for their discounts. In electronics, we saw
