Every Christmas, Google is joining the search for Santa Claus with their Santa Tracker. This year, the company expanded the tracker a very nicely designed website, and created a virtual tracker with a 3D model of Santa with his sleds going across the globe in Google Earth, for example.
Santa Tracker in Google Earth... leaving Africa en route South AmericaThis is one of great examples how companies like Google can make themselves attractive to the youngest of us, and remind us adults of the time when we didn't had all the worries in the world. At the time of writing of this message, Santa Claus was passing Barcelona and Madrid, en route towards Senegal and Southern and Northern America. We expect to see Santa ending his tour around the Globe in Hawaii, where he might take a breather after passing the globe in 24 hours.
Once he's done with Hawaii and recovers from this trip around the world, we expect him to travel home, where you can find him throughout the rest of the year. After all, we all know where Santa Claus lives. Well inside the Polar Circle, there's a small city of Rovaniemi, Finland - and there you'll find
Santa Claus Village. For that one, you don't need to use Google Santa Tracker. Google Maps will do.
