On Computex Taipei 2012, GigaByte announced its entrance into the world of workstation products. The company created a workstation-grade motherboard utilizing Intel's C606 chipset.
The Demo box features a system SSD and eight Seagate Cheetahs. Video editing horsepower is provided by NVIDIA Quadro 4000 and Tesla C2075 boardsThe board comes with full amount of SAS ports, and GigaByte's Demo system had eight Seagate Cheetah drives at 15,000 RPM delivering a throughput of massive 7GB/s, pictured below - enough for real-time editing with up to five real-time, ucompressed 4K RAW streams.
