Inspire Futuremark and Win Big with 3DMark11
11/23/2010 by: Sean Kalinich
People get inspiration from the most unlikely places. When I was finishing up my time in the military I was inspired by a ruined building to indulge in architecture photography. This sent me on something of a quest that culminated in a run-in with the police at a near-by airport [unknown to me I was on their property shooting an old abandoned school]. Hopefully you will not have any issues like this as you are inspired by the High Temple scene in 3DMark 11. Why would you be inspired by 3DMark 11’s High Temple scene? Well to get a chance to be the winning design for Antec’s Dark Fleet DF-85 Case.
If you are the winner then you will get your design hand painted onto the DF-85. Other prizes will include four runners-up each winning an Antec Dark Fleet DF-35 case and Biostar TH67XE motherboard. All winners will also receive a copy of 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition.
The contest is coming just prior to the launch of 3DMark 11 which is FutureMark’s next gaming bench. If you are interested you should head over and take a look at the happenings on FutureMark’s website.
"The High Temple scene in 3DMark 11 with its lush jungle and mysterious temple provides a rich source of inspiration," said Jukka Mäkinen, Futuremark CEO. "We can’t wait to see the designs people create."
"Antec has always been a pioneer in the development and manufacture of PC components," said Scott Richards, senior vice president at Antec. "We’re excited to continue that tradition by sponsoring this contest in which people can create original designs of their own."
The deadline for entries is 23:59 GMT, December 23, 2010.
