Fujitsu Delays Intel Oak Trail-based Tablet

It looks like the arrival of x86 based tablets brings one delay after another. After we saw delays with AMD Brazos-based tablets, turn comes to Intel and Oak Trail platform: Fujitsu just announced the delay of their Atom-powered tablet.
The company released a statement that LifeBook TH40/D is delayed and will not arrive in June 2011, as it was previously announced. Furthermore, the original price of 75,000 Yen i.e. $989 is no longer accurate since the delay "may result in modifications of features".
Fujitsu LifeBook TH40/D tablet featured a fold-design in an ultra-thin package.
Originally, LifeBook TH40/D carried an Atom Z670 processor ticking at 1.5GHz, 1GB of memory and a 1.8" 120GB, 4200 rpm Fujitsu hard drive. You could also expand the memory up to additional 128GB via SD Card slot. Furthermore, tablet PC featured 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and HDMI connector.
Given the design of the tablet, we hope that the device will arrive to the market.
