Have You Heard of the Oppo? You Probably Will.

You may not have heard about the Chinese company Oppo in any context, but things might change very soon. Whilst Huawei and ZTE have become very significant brands when it comes to the general smartphone market, there is an apparent supply of the “smaller” manufacturers making real electronic “jewels” with the most recent parts available.
At the very end of the last year Oppo unveiled their Find 5 flagship, a 5-inch high-end smartphone with a gorgeous 1080p IPS LCD screen and a classy set of innards: 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 with the Adreno 320 GPU and dual-channel 533 MHz memory. 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 13MP rear f/2.2 Sony Exmor RS shooter, 1.9MP front facing cam, 2500mAh battery, NFC and much more tightly packed in an 8.8 mm thin minimalistic case. Thanks to that and surprising international availability of the device, Oppo managed to secure the attention of many reviewers and consumers while creating a successful story out of the Find 5 - but they are not stopping there.
According to the latest rumors, the company is already working on the successor, presumably named Oppo Find 6. While the dimensions and general form of the device will probably remain similar – if not the same, it will carry the most powerful Qualcomm SoC thus far, the Snapdragon 800, paired with the standard 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (as before, microSD expansion slot will probably be missing) and that gorgeous 5-inch FullHD screen.
To make things curious, the Find 6 will carry a front facing 8MP shooter, somewhat breaking the international trends of 1.9-2.1MP camera sensor units for video calls. Then again, the higher-resolution cameras are easily found in the Chinese market. Sources claim that the device will be ready for distribution as early as September. Could the little known Oppo enter the big-brands game sooner than expected?
