AMD Posts Q3 2012 Net loss of $131 Million, Announces Restructuring Plan

AMD just released its financial results for the third quarter of 2012. Throughout the quarter the company earned $1.27 billion in revenues, -10% compared to the last quarter and -25% compared to the same quarter of last year.

Intel Lowers End of the Year 2011 Outlook by $1B, Blames HDD Shortage

Intel today announced a lowered guidance for the 4Q 2011. Instead of $14.7 billion plus or minus $500, the company now expects revenue to be at $13.7 billion plus or minus $300 million, both GAAP and non-GAAP.
