Palm recently announced its update 1.2 to the Pre's webOS operating system. Missing from the announcement was any mention of what Palm calls "Media Sync" -the ability for Palm's smartphone to mimic an Apple iPod.

Recently, Palm released webOS 1.1. This is the third major enhancement for Pre since launching on June 6. Palm’s older Treo owners are looking on in shock because they were lucky to see two updates in three years.
